2020 was a lamentable year for everyone. By early March it was apparent that our plans were going to change. Instead of provisioning and planning our departure from Florida we had to make the difficult decision to remain in Florida and therefore arrange for a safe place for Congrio during hurricane season. Her winter slip is occupied by another boat during the summer. I can sum it up by describing the weeks we spent arranging for a safe slip and negotiating insurance as stressful. Nevertheless, by the middle of June we closed up Congrio and climbed aboard a U-Haul truck full of our junk from storage in Florida and, towing our car behind us, we headed to Annapolis with the Covid-19 pandemic fully engaged. That is a story for another place.
